Pastor Rod Nichols is a good example of a servant leader in the network marketing industry.

More than two years ago when I was about to start in network marketing, he was the first person who guided me on how to get started right. He gave his precious time and wisdom even if at that time his company was (and still is) not operating in my home country The Philippines. He simply helped without expecting anything in return because it is his nature to serve people.

May I share with you the first two paragraphs from his article “What is a Servant Leader” :

In this article we’ll examine this seemingly contractive form of leadership and describe the attributes of a servant leader.

Having been involved in the network marketing industry for 28 years, I’ve seen all types of leadership, but those who have enjoyed the greatest success over an extended period of time have all been servant leaders. So, what the heck is a servant leader, you ask? That’s a good question and I intend to answer it, but before we do that, let’s examine some descriptions of a leader.

In the previous post, Jack Canfield gave some advice on how to find your mentor. However, a question still remains - What kind of mentor should you look for?

As Christians, we believe that everything comes from God. We can only know what is best for us when we know who God is in our lives and our real identity in Him. For us, God is our Real Mentor and he simply uses earthly mentors as instruments to help us in our journey.

May we be reminded of who God is in our lives as we watch this video…
